He was predeceased by: his parents, Westley Sweeney and Evelyn Sweeney (Chandler); and his brother Donald Sweeney Tink Sweeney (Gladys Sweeney). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Roehrig; his sons, Trent (Karen) and Troy (Joanna); his brother Wayne Hatch; his sister-in-law Brenda Sweeney; his grandchildren, Alesha Sweeney (Josh Marino), Nathan Sweeney (Gracie Morrell), Nicholas Sweeney, Keenan Sweeney (Madi Bleau), Nikki Wiers (Pete Wiers) and Ryan Moon; his great grandchildren, Robert Andrew Marino, Haley Weirs and Karli Weirs; and his nieces and nephews, Robert, Matt, Linda, Anna, Tina and Alan Allison.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crosman Funeral Home (40 Main St, Lisbon, ME 04252). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
