He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine Davis and John L. Davis, Sr.; his spouse Jean Alice Genthner of Topsham; his daughters, Terry Davis Colby (Scott) of Belgrade, Susan Helton (Gary) of Ohio, Stephanie Rogers (Craig) of Orr's Island and Jennifer Davis (Dana Bontatibus) of Topsham; his siblings, Richard Davis of Georgia and Diane Cramer of Bowdoin; and his grandchildren, John Helton, Brett Rogers, Elizabeth Leonard, Mark Rogers, Katie Huff, Matthew Colby, Scott Rogers, Jonathan Colby, Jack Bontatibus and Emily Bontatibus. He was also cherished by 8 great-grandchildren.
