In the vast expanse of eternity, Hugh shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Hugh farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. McKinnie Phelps and Carolyn Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Norma Brooks; his daughters, Julie (Michael) of Albion and Laura (Iain) of Wiscasset; his grandchildren, Carolyn and Owen of Albion; his brothers, Chuck and Lewis; and his cousin Pam Ayre of Milton, CT.
