She was predeceased by: her parents, Almond Pierpont and Leona Pierpont (Wellman); and her brother-in-law Chet Dates. She is survived by: her children, Damon, Mariah Pierpont, Shane and Stephanie Pierpont; her siblings, Susan Dates, Nathan (Brenda Pierpont), Nancy (Harry Fitzgerald) and Martha (Sheldon McLean); and her grandchildren, Shakira, Darius, Ariana, Alexander and Felicity.
