He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia L. Blackman; his parents, Marjorie Beryl Herrick and Fred Blackman; his grandparents, Frank, Verna Herrick, Arthur and Olive Blackman; his former spouse Luther Bickmore; his children, Steve, Renee Kealoha (Kevin) of Wilmot and James Blackman (Lynn) of Thomaston; and his sisters, Susan Lindemann (Merlin) of Nicholasville, Kentucky and Pamela Hughes (John) of Rockland. He was also cherished by his sixteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lakeview Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
