He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Catherine Lilienthal; his father-in-law Neil; his uncles, George Lilienthal and Frank Lilienthal; and also Beverly Kirkpatrick Lilienthal.
He is survived by: his grandmother Adella Kirkpatrick (Gilmore); his wife Emily Lilienthal of Thomaston; his siblings, Cheryl Lilienthal (Curt Carleen) of Saunderstown, RI, Tracey Thompson (Jay Thompson) of Kutztown, PA and Arthur II of Baldwinsville, NY; his nephews, Thomas Lilienthal of Arthur and Michael Lilienthal; his aunt Alice Flagg (Lewis) of Winthrop; his mother-in-law Ellen of Cherryfield; and also, Tenan Lilienthal of Thomaston and Arthur G..
