He was predeceased by: his parents, George Richards and Abbie Richards; his former wife Eliza; his daughter Linda L. Richards Dodge; and his siblings, Charles, Bernard, Roland, Raymond, Gerald, Kenneth, Marietta, Christina and Georgianna.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hooper of Thomaston; his sister Edith Poulin of Satuma, FL; and his cousin Tom Vaughn of Stockton Springs. He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
