We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2023, at the age of 89, George Alex of Thomaston, Maine, born in Rockland, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Alex and Constantina Mahalia Alex; his daughters, Gretchen and Holly; and his siblings, Vicky, Christy and Louie.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Thornton; his son Greg; his grandsons, Dillon, Devin, Dustin, Derek and Riley; and his brother Peter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
