He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William and Harriet Leighton, Sr. (Noyes); his significant other Mary Jane O'Regan of Temple; his son Luke Leighton (Holly) of Brooklyn, NY; his sister Jane Wardwell of Dixfield; his nieces and nephews, Shelly Leighton, Stephanie Dube (Ray) of Lewiston, Ryan Hart of Portland and Jamie Hart (Kimberly); his siblings-in-law, Jim O'Regan (Deborah) of South Portland, Ann Wattles (Alden) of New Vineyard and Patti O'Regan of Portland; his sister Rebecca; and his brother-in-law Clyde Wardwell. He was also cherished by several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
