He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoyt and Helen Hoyt (Dana); and his siblings, Dana Hoyt, Walter Hoyt, William Hoyt, Hazel Barker, Louise Nicholas, Lila Kane and Myrtle Haney.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Buzzell of Temple; his children, Jack Hoyt, Jr. (Valerie) of Industry, Tammy Lequillo (James Scaffidi) of Franklin, MA, Melissa Clark (Richard) of Woodbridge, VA and Randy Hoyt (Bethany) of Wilton; his grandchildren, Allyson Hoyt Blais (Dan), Eric Lequillo (Jessica), Alex Lequillo (Kelsey Manion), Andrew Clark, Jacob Clark, Natalie Clark, Jordan Hoyt, Derek Hoyt and Devon Hoyt; his great grandchildren, Aria Blais and Mila Lequillo; and his sisters, Marjorie Savage of West Farmington and Eva Say.
