He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard M. Blodgett and Helen Blodgett (Iisalo); his spouse Valerie Goodwin Breard Aug; his children, Richard L. Blodgett (Laurie) of Temple, George Dana Blodgett Jr. (Sarah) of Rochester, Kert Blodgett (Amanda) of Skowhegan, Christopher Breard (Peggy) of Louisville and Leigh Spahr (Mark) of Winterport; and his grandchildren, Cody Blodgett, Nicholas, Angela Blodgett, Miranda, Ryan Breard, Izaiah, Elisha, Larissa Blodgett, Peyton and Hannah Spahr.
