He was predeceased by: his parent Ethel Buker (King); his spouse Jeanne E. Buker (O'Leary); and his sibling Lloyd Buker. He is survived by: his parent Charles Buker; his children, Steven Buker of Bridgton, Jeannine White, Dana Michael Buker, Katherine Whipple, John Buker of Brockton, Ann-Marie Buker of Lehigh Acres, FL and Sharon Buker Tully of Brockton; his sibling Viola Cobb; and his grandchildren, Erik Buker, Franz Buker, John "Jay" White, Alisa Karwowski, Kate McClure, Lauren Lennahan, Ashley Pepitone, Allison Buker, Vicki Santos, Alex Whipple, Maryanne Wilbur, Robert E. Buker and Mike Tully.
