He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Richards Cox and Ross Richards; and his brothers, Boyd, Sheridan and John.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jordan Richards, Sandra Starbird and Bert Cox; his daughters, Heidi Richards, Wendy Richards (Melanie Craig) and Brandi Flanagan (Noreen Flanagan); and his grandchildren, Adam Perry, Bradan Craig, Bryce Richards, Fionn Flanagan and Feena Flanagan. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest a donation in Mark's name to the National SeaBee Foundation, P.O. Box 391Springfield, VA 22150.
