He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Burnham and Margaret Burnham (Durgen); his former wife Lorna Staples; his wife Lorna Burnham of Strong; his children, James Burnham of Livermore Falls and Ruth Hyde (David) of Livermore Falls; and his adoptive sons, Mikael Burnham of Strong and Christopher Burnham of Livermore. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
