He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Mitchell; his children, Joseph E. Scamman (Debbie) of Lewiston and Tanis E. Scamman; his granddaughter Christy of Strong; his brother Lewis Scamman (Dianne) of Washington State; and his sister-in-law Ruth Cushman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
