Verna Eaton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Eaton (Stonington, Maine), who passed away on August 27, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Dowe; her daughters, Karmi McCune and Tanya Taylor; her granddaughters, Erin and Sariah Lindstrom (Paul); and her brothers, George Gross, Jr. and Wallace Gross.

She is survived by: her daughter Nardene (Ray); her sons-in-law, Ron McCune and David Taylor; her granddaughters, Esther McCune and Nannette Smith (Brett); her children, Sydney, Emily, Penny and Collin; her grandson Glenn Wiskur (Heidi); her daughters, Eleanor and Lydia; her grandson David McCune (Jenny); her children, Rowen, Taryn, Alyson and Kaedyn; her granddaughter Hannah Gray (Chris); her children, Norah and Claire; her granddaughter Samantha Dunham (Spencer Mishoe); her children, Addie, Porter and Teddy Dowe; her granddaughter Layla Strout (Brad); her children, Asher and Ezra; her grandson Lucas Eaton; her son Levi Anthony (Nancy); and her granddaughters, Kristina, Robin and Tasha.

Because of Covid, there will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the Memorial Ambulance Corps or the Sunset Restoration Branch in Sunset, Maine.
