It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Blackmore (Stonington, Maine), born in Blue Hill, Maine, who passed away on December 23, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Frederick and Virginia Blackmore (Gross); his brother Frank; his grandparents, Jason and Susan Gross (Davis); his wife Mary Blackmore (Leali); his children, Sally (Curtis Haskell) of Stonington and Blaine (Sharon Blackmore) of Deer Isle; his grandchildren, Clay Haskell of Stonington, Molly Rowe (Haskell) of Swampscott, Mass., Amanda Brehaut (Blackmore) of Orrington, Megan Swift (Blackmore) of Windham and Scott Blackmore of Deer Isle; his great grandchildren, Ashley, Colby Haskell, Will, Max Rowe, Edward, Andrew Swift and Wyatt Brehaut; and his niece Carol Hamalainen. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
