He is survived by: his parents, Harold Benedict and Christine Benedict; his wife Arlene Fickett Benedict; his children, Sheron B. Egolf, Jeffery A. Benedict (Jeanne) and Jennifer B. Rowland (Richard); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Matthew and Julie. He is also survived by two brothers and a sister.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
