With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley Eugene Sanborn of Standish, Maine, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on August 10, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph John Sanborn and Mary Elizabeth Sanborn (Guevin); his wife Judith A. Sanborn (Iott); his sister Mary Lou Higgins (Blair R. Higgins); his nephew Joshua J. Higgins; and his son-in-law Bruce V. Avery.
He is survived by: his daughter Eileen Avery; his grandchildren, Patrick, Nicole and Samantha; his son Michael Sanborn (Joann); his grandchildren, Sarah, Melissa, Kaitlin and Abbie; his son David Sanborn (Renee); his grandchildren, Ethan, Rachel and Ellie; his son Eric Sanborn (Holly); his grandchildren, Emily, Haley and Erin; his siblings, Joseph Sanborn (Patricia) of Cornwall and Eileen F. Sanborn of Portland; and his brother-in-law David M. Iott. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
