He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy M. Smith and Bertha Smith (Lajoie) of Standish; his son Patrick Smith; and his siblings, Phil, Gordon, Barb and Ida.
He is survived by: his wife Althea Kendrick Smith; his children, Pamela Smith Peiffer (Larry) of Standish, Joyce Smith Durkin of Saco, Michael Smith of Buxton and Timothy Smith of Standish; and his sister Joan Petrizzo. He is also survived by his wife, 2 daughters and 2 sons; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great- great grandchild.
