It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. Penney (Springvale, Maine), born in Sanford, Maine, who passed away on November 11, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Freeman B. Penney and Doris I. Penney (Mullins); his children, Travis Penney (Madeline) of Sanford, Coddy Penney (Jen Nolan) of Sanford, Nyah Penney of Dover, NH and Kera Levasseur (Tyson) of Nashua, NH; his grandchildren, Julianna Penney, Ethan Penney, Madison Penney, Kareem Abdelsadek, Tariq Abdelsadek and Chance Penney; and his siblings, Mary Penney of Springvale, Jacqueline Penney of Sanford and Benjamin Penney. He was also cherished by one nephew and four nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Salvation Army or to Sanford First Baptist Church.
