He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Plate and Esther Plate (Nelson); his wife Joy of Waterford, Maine; his children, Bob Plate and Karen Shelnutt; his son-in-law Rex; and his grandchildren, Jessica Plate (Shehan Peiris), Austin Shelnutt (Brittany), Kelsey Cote (Matt), Taylor Mund (Cole) and Jeff Plate. He was also cherished by 6 great grandchildren; and the many friends.
