She was predeceased by: her brothers, Michael and Timothy Gardiner. She is survived by: her parents, Frank O. Gardiner and Susan A. Gardiner (Logan); her children, Sarah (Lou Tirado) of South Portland, Kathleen (Brian Determan) of South Portland, Julia Lydon of Boston and John (Jill Lydon) of South Portland; her siblings, Mary (Patrick Gordon) and Stephen (Fiona Gardiner); and her grandchildren, Elliana of South Portland, Lucia of South Portland, Joseph Tirado of South Portland and Olivia Lydon of South Portland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
