It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Wood Obie of South Portland, Maine, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perley Wood and Caro Wentworth; and her brother Timothy Wood. She is survived by: her husband Paul; her sons, Justin and Brandon (Kristiana); and her grandchildren, Kaelyn, Addison and Weston.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Hobbs Funeral Home (230 Cottage Rd, South Portland, ME 04106). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Peoples United Methodist Church (310 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106).
In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted to benefit New England Cancer Specialists and Hospice of Southern Maine.
