He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Lavinney and George H. McLaughlin; his wife Christine Elsie Bickford; and his siblings, Donald, Nelson, Dorothy and Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Gary McLaughlin (Pandra), Dianne Lowell (Bob), Cheryl Frank (Benny), Steve McLaughlin (Sonia) and Scott McLaughlin.
