He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. and Leonora Thorne Gorman; his wife Joan Melvin Gorman; and his brothers, Kenneth Gorman, William Gorman and Charles Gorman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Stewart (David) of San Diego, Kristin Nason (Jeff) and Carol Gorman; and his grandchildren, Shelby Hummer, Michael Hummer (Sumi) of Los Angeles and Matthew Gorman of Boston.
