He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel E. Feeney and Catherine M. Feeney (Connolly); his wife Nancy Feeney; his son Peter Feeney; and his brothers, Daniel Feeney, James Feeney, John Feeney and Francis Feeney.

He is survived by: his sons, Gregory M. Feeney of Westbrook and Daniel E. (Jeanne Feeney). He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
