With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Connolly of South Portland, Maine, who passed away on August 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry E. Connolly and Gladys Connolly (Millberry). He is survived by: his son Dan (Theresa) of Barrington, RI; his grandchildren, Brendan (Maggie) of Conway, NH, John (Colleen) of New Orleans and Grace of Boone, NC; and his siblings, Marguerite (Arnie) of Scarborough and Bobby (Linda) of Windham.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the South Portland Lions Club.
