He was predeceased by: his parents, John Aceto and Maria Ciccarelli Aceto; his wife Shirley Anne Mitchell; and his siblings, Edmund, Nicholas, John, Antoinette, Josephine and Rose.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Barrows (Russell) of Gorham, Brenda Grindle (Steven) of Portland, Diane Aceto of Windham, Rebecca Aceto (Jaime Burnham) of Biddeford, Ralph J. Aceto, Jr. of Gray, Vincent Aceto (Lynn) of Gorham and Joseph Aceto (Tracy) of South Portland; and his siblings, Albert (Alta) of Florida and Lena Walsh of Portland. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
