He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jennie Means and Philip Pickering Thompson, Sr.; his wife Mary Rines Thompson; his siblings, John Thompson of South Portland and Jane Tukey of Bangor; his children, William (Augustiina), Frederic (Bibi), Audrey Price (Terry), Julie Fralich (Michael), Benjamin (Tatiana Green) and Nathaniel; and his grandchild Europe. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
