He was predeceased by: his father Philip M. Smith, Sr.; his wife Kathleen Bonville; his brother Joseph Smith; and his stepfather Roland Berthiaume. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Berthiaume (Giroux) of South Portland; his son Philip M. Smith, III (Danielle); his grandchild Carter of Brownville; his stepson Ian Bonville (Leah); his brother Steven Smith (Angela) of South Portland; his stepsiblings, Carl Berthiaume, Allen Berthiaume and Nichole Hamm; his granddaughter Chloe; and his stepgrandson Bentley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
