She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas S. Sr.; her son-in-law Kevin M. Gilbert; and her brother Timothy F. Flaherty. She is survived by: her parent Elaine M. Flaherty (Sawyer); her children, Maria E. Gilbert of South Portland and Anthony Pesce Jr. (Meredith) of Westbrook; her siblings, Kathleen Smith (Donald), Thomas S. Flaherty Jr. (Nancy) of Falmouth Foreside, Peter L. Flaherty (Jayne), Paul C. Flaherty (Sandra) of Westbrook and John G. Flaherty (Michael Poulin) of South Portland; her sisters-in-law, Catherine Flaherty of Lewiston and Anne M. Verzoni of South Portland; and her grandchildren, Meghan E. Gilbert, Grace E. Gilbert of South Portland and Frances A. Pesce of Westbrook. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a huge extended family.
