It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melisse J. T. Merlim of South Portland, Maine, born in Berkeley, California, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Valerie Turner (Whitney) and Glenn Turner; her daughter Ziana Merlim; and her sisters, Caitlin Dean and Natasha Stout.
It was her wish to wait until Covid cases go down, and the timing allows for a safer outdoor gathering with as many loved ones as possible.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Maine Cancer Foundation in her honor.
