It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Berry of South Portland, Maine, born in Lubec, Maine, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Jeffrey (Joan) of South Portland; her parents, Vincent McGonigal and Maude McGonigal (Fleet); her husband Dwight Berry; her sister Natalie Scoville (McGonigal); her sons, Stephen (Stephanie) of Whitefield and Gregory (Sharon) of Scarborough; her sister-in-law Dorothy Gardner (Harlan); her grandchildren, Stephanie (Joshua), Kyle (Tracy), Krystle (Zachary) and Nathaniel (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Madalynn, David, Lauren and Zayla. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
