Marjorie Louise Sawtelle Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Louise Sawtelle of South Portland, Maine, born in Cherryfield, Maine, who passed away on July 7, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Tenan and Eunice Tenan; her husband Derwood Sawtelle; and her siblings, Joyce Northrup and Larry Tenan.

She is survived by: her children, Judith Sass (Bradley) of Homosassa, Derwood Jr. (Barbara) of Saco, Russell (Mimoza) of Windham, Sherri Davis (Frank) of South Portland and Vicki Currier (John) of Saco, Maine; and her brother Leroy Tenan (Patricia) of Camano Island. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and their spouses; 20 great-grandchildren.
