She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin O. Thompson Sr.; and her son Edwin "Eddie" Thompson Jr.. She is survived by: her parents, John Mahoney and Nellie Mahoney; her daughter-in-law Claudia Silke (Shaun); and her sister Linda Thompson. She is also survived by 4 brothers; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
