He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DiMatteo Sr. and Mary DiMatteo (Nolfo). He is survived by: his wife Kathy DiMatteo (Works); his daughters, Angela Campbell (Ian Campbell) and Julie Roy (Joshua Roy); his brother Paul DiMatteo; and his grandchildren, Parker Joseph Campbell, Natalie Roy, Camden Roy and Nora Roy.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peters Roman Catholic Church (72 Federal St, Portland, ME 04101). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel (1024 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106). A reception was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 33 Allen Ave, Portland, ME 04103.
