It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Gill Richards of South Portland, Maine, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. "Ted" Gill and Barbara A. Gill (O'Connell). She is survived by: her husband Tony of South Portland; her children, Sophia, Anthony and Katherine; her stepson Nicholas Richards (Tracy) of Saco; her siblings, Karen Gill of Michigan, John E. Gill, Jr. (Michelle) of Cape Elizabeth and Stephen A. Gill (Christine Powell) of Daytona Beach, FL; her uncle Jock O'Connell (Gill) of Sacramento, CA; her nieces and nephews, Kate, Brent, Rhiannon, Patrick, Ted and Pete; her sister-in-law Clair Knicely (David) of Maryland; and her friends, Nancy McCarthy-Marsden, Karen Allen and Betty Melanson.
