He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Wallace and Evelyn Wallace (Dailliere); his son James D. Wallace Jr.; his siblings, John Wallace Sr., Dorothy Loring, William Wallace and Kathleen Meehan; and his daughter-in-law Debra Wallace.
He is survived by: his wife Madelyn Wallace (Curran); his children, Deborah Welch (Dennis) of South Portland, Martin Wallace of Annapolis, MD and Melissa Martin (Eric) of South Portland; and his siblings-in-law, Maureen Conroy of South Portland and Phillip Curran (Patricia) of Portland. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
