It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis Collins of South Portland, Maine, born in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Collins and Aurora Collins (Vermette); and his sisters, Claire Vermette, Mary Villeneuve, Gloria Green and Yvonne Hartshorn.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wass of South Portland; his children, Francis R. Collins, Jr. (Donna) and Deborah Hambelton (Michael); his grandchildren, Richard Collins (Jennifer), Jason Webber (Christine), Jaime Griffin (Joseph) and Amy Hambelton; his great grandchildren, Hannah and Mason Collins; his grandchildren, Kyle, Jasmine Webber, Samuel and Tiaylah Griffin; and his friends, Debi Kelly, Joanne Kennedy, Mary Lou Mundy and Karen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
