He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lamson and Gladys Lamson (Beal); his wife Leona Grace Lamson (Beal); and his siblings-in-law, Hayden Feeney, Dale Crowley, Clifford Johnson, Carlee Feeney (Beal) and Christine Alley (Beal).
He is survived by: his children, Dean Lamson (Mary Ellen Rioux) of Buxton, Paul Lamson (Sylva) of Scarborough, Nancy Shook (Eugene) of Hollis and Gary Lamson (Heidi) of Hollis; his grandchildren, Angela, Jeremy, Courtney, Amy, Ashley, Whitney, Danielle, Larry, Samantha and Jacob; his sister Dorothea Crowley of Addison; his siblings-in-law, Napoleon Beal (Polie) of Jonesport, Jane Johnson (Beal) of Jonesport and Allen Alley of Jonesport; and his close friend Pam Hartley. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The South Portland Hockey Program raised most of their startup funds at the hall, and when the Golf team was having trouble with transportation the golf boosters donated a bus to the School Transportation System to alleviate the problem.
