She is survived by: her mother Nora Stetson (Ward) of Portland; her husband Jay Melanson; her daughters, Nora Fagan (Marc) of Falmouth and Mary Melanson (Erin Melanson) of New Gloucester; her siblings, Ralph Stetson (Liz) of Gray and Susan Grist (Steve) of Lewisberry; and her grandchildren, Dee Dee, Emily, Ella, Jack, Declan and Noah.

A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home of South Portland (1024 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106).
