It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diane Houghton Parker of South Portland, Maine, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Houghton and Dorothy Gray Houghton; her grandmother Annie Martin Gray; her son Michael Parker; and her grandson Derek Emery.
She is survived by: her aunt Helen McBrady Gilchrist; her former spouse Francis X. Parker; her sisters-in-law, Jean, Nina, Mary Lou and Elaine; her brother John (Laurel Rodman) of Tiverton, RI; and her children, Elizabeth (John Campbell) of Chelsea, ME, Susan Parker of Brunswick, ME, Jane Parker (Kevin Cassidy) of Eagle, CO and Gregory (Jerrie Parker) of Albion, ME.. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hobbs Funeral Home (230 Cottage Rd, South Portland, ME 04106). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Memorial Cemetery (533 Spurwink Ave, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Two Lights State Park (7 Tower Dr, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107).
