He was predeceased by: his grandfather Pete Everest Sr. of Portland; and his aunt Mary Cavallero of Portland. He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Vassie and Karen Vassie (Everest) of Florida; his brother Charles Vassie of Michigan; his aunts and uncles, Barbara (Mark Rand) of Hiram, Ron Cavallero of Portland, Pete (Wendi Everest) of South Portland and Grace (Mark Leavitt) of South Portland; and his nephew Christopher Vassie-Glendenning of South Portland. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
