She is survived by: her husband Kevin Knight; her grandchildren, Jennifer Crooker, Jeffrey Crooker (Rebecca), Anthony LaVopa and Juliana LaVopa Elliott (Marcus); her great grandchildren, Zaynab, Fatimah, Aishah, Amr Alhawary, Zackary, Alex Crooker, Anthony, Cristiana LaVopa, Taylor and Kaycen Elliott; and her great great grandchild Amani Howard.
