He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman A. Colby and Ruth Colby (Wolfe); his wife Irene Mae Millett; his children, Dana and Paula; his grandson Travis Colby; and his sister Jean Ryder.
He is survived by: his sister Ethelyn Chambers of South Paris; his children, Paul (Bonnie Colby) of Buckfield, Debbie (Mark Martel) of South Paris and Faith Walker (George Prevendoski) of Albany, NY; his grandchildren, Gary Marston, Maria Vaillancourt, Riley Colby, Jenni Bolduc, Sarah Colby, Derrick Martel, Elaine Clark, Ellen Herrick, Kathryn Prevendoski and Samantha Prevendoski; and his close friends, Brian of Maryland, Polly Hill of Maryland, Ken of Maryland and Wendy Gee of Maryland. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
