He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Merrill and Mabel Slattery Merrill; his wife Thelma; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his brother Roger; his sons, Bruce (Matthew Bailey) of Sabattus and Jack (Linda Frechette) of South Paris; and his grandchildren, Jacob and Paige.
