He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney M. Ring and Bessie Yates Ring; his brother Bill Ring; his siblings-in-law, Betty Ring and Jan B. Conant; and his stepson Tommy Hutchisen.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Ring (Conant) of South Paris; his children, Cathy Ring and Arnold Ring; his stepchildren, Tim Hutchisen (Karen Hakala), Tammy Hutchisen and Todd Hutchisen (Carrie Hoge); his grandchildren, Kyle Ring (Amanda Mayberry), Nikki Goodhart (Cameron), Michaela Ring, Alison Kimball (Shane), Imogen and Sigrid; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Cooper, Rhett, Ryder, Max, Jackson and Jayden; his sisters, Eleanor McDonald and Rachel; and his brothers-in-law, Ben Conant and Roger Conant (Lillian). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
