He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Norton and Marion Cordwell Norton; his daughter Deborah Norton (Woodrow Irish); his siblings, John, Anthony, Linwood, Joe, Mary Tripp, Kathleen McAlister and Hilda Currier; and his half-sisters, Louise Scales and Elaine Damon.
He is survived by: his close friend Shirley Hazelton; his son Armand Norton; his wife Shirley of South Paris; his sister Beverly Rosenburg; and his grandchildren, Heather Fickett (Jonathan), Scott Irish, Kayla Norton (Phil Foire) and Cody Norton (Katherine). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
