He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Mather and Vera Clifford Mather; his wife Doris Johnson; his children, Alan Mather (Bobbi) of So, Stephen Mather (Anastasia) of Staten Island, NY. and Beth Froman of Fairfield, ME.; and his sisters, Glenna (Mark Randall) of York, Barbara Ruszczyk of Harpswell and Doris Victoria Stevens of Brunswick. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
